Taio Cruz is a very famous English songwriter-singer and producer. He is also known in UK for his rapping abilities. His discography though short, is very effective and hit among masses. His discography consists of eight singles, two studio albums, eight music videos and a large number of special appearances. He has also given many live performances along with some most popular music celebrities.

His maiden album  “Departure”, was a huge hit and three of its numbers featured in top 20 singles in UK, these were ‘Come on Girl’, ‘She’s like a star’ and ‘I can be’.  ”I Just Wanna Know” was his first single which was released in November 2006. “Moving On” was another smash hit from Taio Cruz that was released on September 2007. It was followed by another popular number “Come on Girl”, released on March 2008. This song also featured Luciana.  This song stayed at number 5 in UK singles chart for a good period of time. This song was also his highest single grosser. “I can be” was the next smash hit, this song however went for a change and it was re-recorded with vocals from Estelle for its release in May 2008.

His fifth single “She’s like a Star” created buzz among music lovers and became very popular. This album was certified gold by BPI in August 2008. This album of Taio Cruz sold more than hundred thousand copies. Both of his albums, “Departure” which was released in 2008 and “Rokstarr” which was released in 2009, had labels from Island Records.

“I Just Wanna Know”, “Moving On”, “Come On Girl”, “I can Be”, and “She’s Like A Star”, whereas some popular songs of Rokstarr are “No Other One” and “Break Your Heart”.

Taio Cruz also appeared as a featured artist in the album “Catch 22” by Tinchy Styder. This song featured in third position in UK song list whereas it topped EU album charts.

Apart from his solo stuff, Taio Cruz has also appeared with many music big shots. He has performed with well-known music band Sugababes and worked with people like Simon Cowell, Jim Beanz etc. He is currently working on projects with Sugababes, apart from this he is also helping in JLS’s self titled music album.

Taio is very young and has tremendous energy. Besides, he has a large amount of talent and with time, he will surely emerge as a well known music personality world over.
